Machine Learning

A variant of artificial intelligence in which machines continuously teach themselves instead of being regularly re-programmed by humans. Can be used to compile and analyze large amounts of data in real time, offerring great advantages to a variety of industries.

Magic wand

A 3D input device used to point and interact in virtual environments. Similar to a computer mouse, but for 3D environments.

Marker-Based Augmented Reality (AR)

An Augmented Reality program in which the camera must recognize a pre-determined physical object or image—such as a table or a QR code—to launch an AR experience. Distinct markers can open distinct AR experiences within the same application.

Markerless Augmented Reality (AR)

Augmented Reality programs which orient themselves in space without the use of specialized markers. Any physical object or surface can be recognized by the program and overlaid with holographic content.

Meta 2 Lens

The Meta 2 Development Kit is an augmented reality (AR) head-mounted display with a 90° projection field, thereby providing immersive AR experiences.
