THE POWER OF PILOT PROJECTS

In collaboration with customers we build a "proof of concept"? which begins with ideation and an in-depth brainstorming process where detailed requirements are outlined. We then break down the project into defined goals and milestones. Each solution is custom-tailored for the customer and their unique needs, resulting in a robust and impressive prototype. We can also take this prototype all the way through to full product development, optimizing it for easy maintenance and allowing room for extensibility. We believe there should be no limit to a client’s or company’s dreams, and our mission is to make those dreams into a reality. If you would like your dreams to turn into reality too drop us a message at the contact form on our landing page.

Festo

Holo-Light collaborated with Festo on two Mixed Reality projects with countless benefits to consumers and workers alike. Mixed Reality already carries with it the ability to surprise and wow, but it also has the ability to fundamentally transform the way we implement Industry 4.0.

Festo Exhibition

Previously demoed at SMART Automation in Linz, Festo Exhibition is all about augmenting trade fair exhibits with informative holographic information and graphics. It is a guided product tour unlike anything else, using the power of Mixed Reality. By simply scanning a QR code on one of Festo’s machines, various graphics and data points sprang to life, displaying videos, texts, and pictures that informed users on individual components in Festo’s real world manufacturing systems. Visitors interacted with these holograms using Hololens to gain a deeper understanding of Festo’s products.

Assembly Training

Festo and Holo-Light have also explored Mixed Reality’s application with regards to training and education. High turnover is reality many manufacturing companies face, and as such the ability to train new staff quickly and effectively is a must. With the Festo Assembly Training application Holo-Light and Festo are helping new employees understand and practice assembly processes by re-creating a digital workspace that a user can practice in anywhere as long as they have a Mixed Reality device. With holographic and voice instructions workers can learn every operating procedure and every necessary detail step by step. This means not only high cost and time savings, but better trained employees.

BMW

Holo-Light has been working with BMW to advance the possibilities for visualizing industry products. Whether for internal or external marketing, the ability to visualize a product quickly is paramount. Excited by the work Holo-Light has been doing in the field of Mixed-Reality, BMW gave a significant amount of input on where the technology could go in terms of use cases. One of the results of this work was an app featuring a prototype BMW i8 rendered through Hololens in immaculate detail, overlaid with additional features that would give this already stellar car an equally stellar presentation.

Holo-Light was able to realize this project only a short time after HoloLens’s release, paving the way to provide more quality solutions for future customers.

Holo-Map

As one of Holo-Light’s most recent projects, Holo-Map strives to render out real-world landscapes and visualize clients’ logistics systems through the use of animated vehicles, pop-up infographics and interactive digital objects. The efficiency of company’s delivery fleet is visible to everyone through the power of Mixed Reality.

Holo-Map’s visualizations make making large scale decisions relevant to a company’s logistics infrastructure easier and more effective.
